The music is pretty much untouched, and using headphones is still greatly recomended. The upgraded resolution and retouched textures bring up a lot of detail and it just feels nice to gaze upon (can´t talk about the 3d effect tho, so no lying).
Thanks to the circle pad, moving and aiming results in a much more comfortable experience(plays really good on a 2ds). It was made back in 2007 on a much inferior hardware, so it may not be strikingly surprising to anyone used to the horror genre, and yet still as a budget portable title it works wonders.
Dementium Remastered is a great updated re-release on the 3ds of the original dementium.
